YCAC TENNIS ACADEMY PROGRAMS

10 years of service

ARRIVAL
YCAC Tennis Academy had one competitive player and 18 junior players. My first challenge as the head coach was to develop a strong tournament player base that would establish players competing at the national and international level. 

SKILL DEVELOPMENT
The newest methodology that juniors in Japan couldn't experience is introduced, and within three years, we had 8 competitive players, including the number one ranked player in Kanagawa Prefecture. 

Our students became highest ranked players at National, Regional and High School Competitions.

PEAK PERFORMANCE 

Academy program grew to 13 competitive players, with regional, national, and inter-high top players.
Players established ITF rankings and worked on qualifying for US colleges; now, 6 of Academy players are playing for US colleges.

INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
By developing a vibrant atmosphere, our junior program grew to 60 players in three years.

Now, we have 70 plus students.
